Hmmm, let’s see how accurate that 0% actually is, shall we?

Well, first off, we know Moffat has read Moran’s ‘How to be a Woman’ book and that they are fairly close:

I mean, Moran may be ‘making jokes’, but she’s still doing what she did a lot in her book - making generalised stereotypes about women. She’s even making a ‘get in the kitchen’ joke. Because Moffat has read her How to be a Woman book, we can extrapolate that what he knows about feminism comes from Moran’s book and the women around him. Women like Moran, Amanda Abbington, and Louise Brealey who are all self-proclaimed feminists who see absolutely NOTHING wrong with Moffat’s writing.

Well, let’s look at their feminism, shall we? Moran has explicitly stated that she doesn’t care about the racial disparities of a show that’s based in New York, where a good amount of minorities live. Also, her book about ~how to be a woman~ states that feminism is about 1) owning a vagina, and 2) wanting to control it, which ignores women who don’t have vaginas, women who want to control OTHERS’ vaginas, or other intersectional issues such as race, class, sexuality, etc. Her book was also rather biased towards heterosexuality since she focused on her own life and not issues that may be common to other people. She also finds it unfair that any person has to attempt to represent half the population of the world, which would be a big focal point of modern feminism.

In Moran’s book, she also states that when you find a feminist man, you should put him on a pedestal and worship him and his body. Steven Moffat is a self-proclaimed ‘feminist man’ though his actions show otherwise. Just because a cis-dude calls himself a feminist, does not mean he is one. He may believe women are equal to men, but he doesn’t put his money, or his writing, where his mouth is. And when you get women like Caitlin Moran patting him on the back going ‘What a good feminist!’, that’s when issues begin. Let’s not forget that media does not exist in a vacuum. People’s ideas of people in minorities are spread and perpetuated THROUGH MEDIA. Politicians watch media too you know.

So I have to say that you’re 0% is factually incorrect. It’s at the very least 70%. At the least. Nice try though.
